Some, any, much, many

Quantificatori; affermative vs negative/interrogative; numerabili vs non numerabili

~6 min di lettura Aggiornata il
In breve

I quantificatori indicano quantità in modo generico. SOME (un po', alcuni): in frasi affermative (I have some money, I have some friends); ANY (alcuni, qualunque): in frasi negative e interrogative (I don't have any money, Do you have any friends?). MUCH (molto): per non numerabili (money, time, water — How much money?); MANY (molti): per numerabili (people, cars, problems — How many people?). A LOT OF / LOTS OF: per entrambi, più informale (a lot of money, a lot of cars). A FEW (pochi): per numerabili positivi; A LITTLE (un po'): per non numerabili. Per la PL: utile per chiedere/descrivere quantità ("How many witnesses?", "Is there any damage?", "There were many people").
