Future: will e going to

Differenze e uso; decisioni immediate vs intenzioni programmate

~6 min di lettura Aggiornata il
In breve

L'inglese ha due forme principali per il futuro: will e going to. Will (I will, you will, he/she/it will, we/you/they will): per decisioni prese al momento, previsioni, promesse, offerte. Es. "I will help you", "It will rain tomorrow". Going to (am/is/are going to + verb): per intenzioni e programmi prestabiliti. Es. "I am going to study English next year", "She is going to retire". Differenza chiave: WILL = decisione spontanea / previsione generica; GOING TO = piano già deciso / previsione basata su evidenze. Forma negativa: won't (will not), am/is/are not going to. Interrogativa: Will you...? / Are you going to...?
